Support > How to enter Safe Mode

Safe Mode is a way to enter MS Windows in a testing mode. In Safe Mode, Windows will allow us to carry tests to repair the normal installation in cases where in the normal login we cannot enter Windows. Maybe the computer freezes, a Blue screen appears or the system reboots.
One of the features of Safe Mode is that Windows will use the basic drivers to access the Windows Desktop, in that case the normal drivers if faulty will not stop us to enter Windows and do the appropriate repairs and checks

To enter safe Mode, press the F8 button on the keyboard as soon the initial logo after a restart appears. It is advisable to press F8 a few times just to be sure. At that point a black screen with a menu will appear and you can choose any options like Safe Mode, or Safe Mode with networking etc.
Please Note: the screen will look slightly different for the various versions of MS Windows.

If the black menu does not appear and the Windows logo is on the screen, you were too late in pressing the F8 key, so just press the reset button on the PC box and try again.
